Mrs. Eileen Backman has a Masters of Arts degree in Education from National Louis University and has been teaching for 11 years.  She has taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade. She teaches 2nd Grade Religious Ed at St. Isaac Jogues. She also has a Master of Arts degree in Organization Development from Benedictine University.  Mrs. Backman went to Catholic School from Kindergarten through post graduate school and says she is still learning about her faith. She is a Daughter of St. Francis de Sales and enjoys this spiritual family, whereby her faith is enriched through various retreats, book studies, and meetings.  She and her husband have three daughters that went to Immaculate Conception Grade School in Elmhurst. They enjoy time with their adult daughters and either walking along the lakefront or the Morton Arboretum. She feels blessed and honored to be sharing the faith-filled educational journey with your children.
