Preschool 3

Mrs. Megan Howarth
Mrs. Megan Howarth has been teaching 18+ years and thoroughly believes all students can learn and find success. She is an Illinois State University alum and also completed coursework for certification in special education through Western Illinois University. She spent 13 years teaching first graders in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, but has also taught in 2nd grade and kindergarten classrooms. Every new grade along the way and now preschool quickly becomes her favorite grade to teach! She and her husband have two young sons who keep them busy and learning. They enjoy their time reading, taking family walks, listening to and playing music, spending time outdoors and enjoying God's beautiful gifts of creation. She learns from children everyday and feels blessed to be a part of St. Philip to help students strengthen their academic and spiritual life.
