Spanish / Learning Center
With over 12* years of service at St. Philip the Apostle School, Mrs. O’Brien is a caring and dedicated educator who deeply values every child’s unique potential. She teaches Spanish to students in grades 1–8, bringing energy and creativity to her classes. She also supports young learners in the Learning Center for Kindergarten through 3rd grade and serves as a Resource Teacher for grades 3–8, partnering closely with students and teachers to help each child grow with confidence.
A proud graduate of Michigan State University, Mrs. O’Brien has always had a passion for education. Her commitment to children extends beyond St Philip through years of volunteering in her children’s schools, where she has built strong relationships within the community.
Known for her patience, encouragement, and student-centered approach, Mrs. O’Brien strives to create welcoming, inclusive spaces where all children feel seen, supported, and inspired to succeed—both academically and personally.
