Art/Physical Education

Mrs. Cathy Sheehan is the Art and Physical Education teacher with 23* dedicated years of service at our school. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Winona State University. Early in her career, she worked in a rehabilitation hospital and with the Special Olympics before focusing on K–8 education. At St. Philip, she leads art, health, and physical education classes for all grade levels and is known for integrating student-led wellness initiatives—like guiding her second graders to a runners-up finish in the “Find Your Balance Challenge,” promoting nutrition variety, energy balance, and activity habits throughout the school community.
